Joshua Tree STYLEDYOU Workshop
Last March, the styledyou team met in Joshua tree, California for a 4 day creative retreat at the beautiful Hi Desert Ranch.
Our attendees were greeted with a rosé bar, sponsored by Union Wine Co , before diving right into workshop business; a watercolor class with Seek Paper Co, professional headshots by Karra leigh photo and then a “fundamentals of style and Design” talk with mae and co creative.
We always aim for fun and relaxing, yet valuable and informative when it comes to our workshops. For this workshop in particular, we achieved that by starting each day with coffee and yoga before jumping into our educational discussions, such as “personal brand coaching” and “pricing and workflow”.
as a creative entrepreneur, It’s so rare to have time to just sit, learn and reflect on your business, which is why these talks are such an important part of every workshop.
We were so lucky to have Monique Serra join us and share her wealth of knowledge on photography basics and the importance of styled shoots as well as how to stay healthy while maintaining the “hustle” that we all have to go through.
Then, together with the attendees, Good seed floral created an incredible entire room installation of greenery and flowers for an intimate, unique bridal styled shoot.
The third day of the workshop, the attendees and team came together to create one of our favorite styled shoots of all time… a dreamy, disco desert theme with the beautiful Officially Quigley (Casey goode) and her man, alex! The outcome was incredible, to say the least! The sequin Rue De Seine dress, terra cotta tablescape by Mae&Co creative, and gorgeous rust and pink bridal bouquet by good seed were just a few of the components that made this shoot so special! We absolutely could not have done it without all of our attendees input and styling skills put in place.
we are already dreaming up our next shoot with officially Quigley at our Italy workshop in april! There are only a few spots left, so click here to snag one before they’re gone!
